welcome you.

Our parishes of St. Mary’s, in Edgeworthstown, Rathowen and Streete are parishes in
which you can truly belong! Whether you are just beginning to explore Catholicism or
have been Catholic all of your life; whether you have stayed on the fringes of parish life
in the past or are already involved in ministry; our parishes are parishes that value you.
As a community, we care for one another, knowing that through our ministry we perceive
Christ’s presence among us.
Celebration of Mass
We invite you to participate in whatever way you can in our Sunday celebration of
Mass and in other ceremonies and celebrations in our churches.

Our parish churches are open daily to all, for Sunday and weekday Masses, for other
celebrations and for private prayer.
Perhaps you would like to visit our church for a quiet prayer
or to light a candle in thanksgiving or a petition
or to sit for a peaceful and quiet moment in the presence of the Lord,
away from the busyness of life.
Whatever the reason, you are very welcome to visit our churches at any time.
Voluntary Ministry/Groups
We invite you to take part in one or more of our Voluntary Ministry/Groups!
Volunteers are essential to the success and life of our parish. Without doubt,
parishioners who do participate in voluntary ministries find these ministries
exceptionally rewarding and valued. Many lifelong friendships are developed through
these shared ministries.
Volunteers can partake in trained religious ministries such as Minister of the
Eucharist, Minister of the Word (reader) or those who keep the church clean, altar
servers, collectors, ushers.

If you would like to become involved in any of our parish choirs we would be
delighted to hear from you.

Supporting our Parish Finance
Our parishes function with the continued generosity and financial support of our
parishioners.
