How long we retain your data


Rotas for Altar Servers:
Currently rotas for Altar Servers are not recorded in either parish newsletter or in website.

Rotas for Eucharistic Ministers and Readers:
Names are printed in the parish newsletter which are scanned each week and uploaded to the website (Parish Newsletters page) and will be deleted at the end of the following month.
Rotas are entered in the website (Our Parishes page) the week before each month and are deleted when the new rotas are entered. Only names (Christian and Surname) are used in both newsletter and website. No other personal information is used.

Baptisms and Deaths:
Names (Christian and Surname) and addresses (street, estate or townland only) are printed in the parish newsletter which are scanned each week and uploaded to the website (Our Parishes page). The names and addresses will remain in that page until being deleted before Easter of the following year. No other personal information is used.

Weddings:
Currently weddings are not recorded in either parish newsletter or in website.

Audio/Video Recordings:
Audio and video recordings are made and available online by way of www.churchtv.ie
(churchtv.ie -> Longford -> Edgeworthstown)
and Sunday morning Mass (Rathowen) at 10.00 a.m. is live streamed on Rathowen Community Development Facebook page.
